This summer's vacation reading program is titled "Catch The Reading Bug." All of the branches within the Ocmulgee Regional Library System will have performers this summer to help entertain and educate the children participating in the vacation reading program. Since parents cannot always attend a performance at a certain library at a certain time, a comprehensive schedule of all the performances at each of the libraries is listed below.
Registration is not required to attend any of the performances.
Performances normally last between 45 to 60 minutes.
The staff of the Ocmulgee Regional Library System certainly hope you and your children will visit and participate often in the vacation reading program at any of the libraries within the system.

In addition to the weekly performances, the Dodge County Library will have weekly reading programs which are targeted at specific age groups. Children that wish to participate in the reading programs will need to complete a registration form before attending the program. Registration begins May 28, 2008 and you must visit the Dodge County Library to receive the registration forms.
Each Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. from June 9, 2008 to July 14, 2008, the Dodge County Library will sponsor reading programs for children ages 2 thru 5. The length of these reading programs is normally 30 to 45 minutes.
Each Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. from June 10, 2008 to July 15, 2008, the Dodge County Library will sponsor reading programs for children who attend elementary school. The length of these reading programs is normally 45 to 60 minutes.
