The Dodge County Library will present the following performers to entertain and educate all members of the audience. All performances are held at the Dodge County Library at 10:00 am on Thursdays.
On June 5, 2008, the Curious Moon Puppeteers will present "Grasshopper and the Ant."
On June 12, 2008, Barry S. Mann will present his musical talents, storytelling abilities, and puppet show flair.
On June 26, 2008, Park Ranger Jodi Sigei will bring some "friends" from the Little Ocmulgee State Park for a show and tell exhibition.
On July 10, 2008, Todd Key will be showing off his juggling expertise while entertaining the crowd with his rousing comedy act.
The June 19, 2008 performer will be announced at a later date.
Due to the July 4th holiday, no performance is scheduled for July 3, 2008.
In addition to the weekly performances, the Dodge County Library will have weekly reading programs which are targeted at specific age groups. Children that wish to participate in the reading programs will need to complete a registration form before attending the program. Registration begins May 28, 2008 and you must visit the Dodge County Library to receive the registration forms.
Each Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. from June 9, 2008 to July 14, 2008, the Dodge County Library will sponsor reading programs for children ages 2 thru 5. The length of these reading programs is normally 30 to 45 minutes.
Each Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. from June 10, 2008 to July 15, 2008, the Dodge County Library will sponsor reading programs for children who attend elementary school. The length of these reading programs is normally 45 to 60 minutes.
