The Lee-Land Hotel once resided on the property now occupied by the Citizens Bank. It fronted Fifth Avenue, at the head of College Street. The three-story white stucco building sported a red tile roof and dark green trim. A well-appointed dining room once boasted the best food of any restaurant in Eastman.

Question: Where does the name "Lee-Land" come from?

Answer: William (Billy) Lee was Eastman's original citizen, owning the site upon which the town was built.
